I receive Alimony from my former spouse, is this reportable for income tax? I also received a large payment on settlement, is this also taxable?

Only periodic payments are reportable. A lump sum payment made in accordance to a legal agreement would not be deductible, or taxable. A lump sum payment to cover arrears payments should however be reportable. Please see CRA's discussion on this topic.
